It Depends. Usually not when it’s your own product. Cutting or modifying blinds you bought carries real risk — one bad cut and the product you paid for is ruined, and that’s not a position we want to put you in. So for BYOB installs, our default is to install blinds that already fit.
There are exceptions. Some retail cellular shades are designed to be trimmed to width, and on occasion we can cut those to fit on-site. If yours are a candidate, we’ll tell you — and we’ll be just as honest if they’re not. If a blind won’t work as-is, the cleaner fix is usually getting the right size rather than gambling on a cut.
